The Irreverent Sales Girl
I wonder about this. I think it’s fine to be inspired by someone else.
The thing that bothers me is when people say, “See. I did it, and proved all those people wrong who said I couldn’t do it.”
That’s when I feel like someone has trivialized their accomplishment. It dismisses their supporters, fans, effort and vision. It’s like their advice would be, “FIRST and foremost, find someone who insists you can’t succeed and obsess on it. Forget about those people who believe in you.”
Ha!!!! Right on the money, Oz!!!! Well said!
